Everyone deserves mentoring
At World Wide Youth Mentoring (WWYM), we believe that every young person deserves a chance
to be mentored, regardless of their financial situation.
With that in mind, we at WWYM have created the ‘Ken & Helena Rabow Mentoring Scholarship’,
in honour of all the mentees, mentors, and parents.
Every WWYM mentor working a minimum of 10 mentee hours per week, for one year, may choose one young adult candidate from their community deserving of a six month mentoring scholarship.
These Young Adult Candidates must prove that they are working in their community to “pay” for their scholarship by contributing in some tangible way.
These scholarships are available to inner city and aboriginal young adults ages 18 to 23 without the financial means to engage in our mentoring program.
WWYM will cover the costs of this six month mentoring scholarship. We know that our mentoring program changes lives. We believe more people should be able to benefit from mentoring.
